Candi Cane Canncel is a writer/designer/artist originally from Miami Beach. She spent three years traveling the world working on board cruise ships teaching cooking, food and wine pairing, craft classes, and hosting seminars on entertaining. Her food writing has been featured in the French magazine Club Sandwich. Her recipes and party planning tips have appeared on ehow, Livestrong, OurEverydayLife, and Leaf.tv. She was the Sewing Editor of Craftgossip.com, the Lifestyle and Food / Drink Contributor for the Seattle-based Belltown Local.com, and has been a featured expert on The Learning Channel, HGTV, and the DIY Network.

She spent seven years as an interior designer focusing on designing vacation rentals, small space urban living, and bachelor pads. Her projects were always innovative and under budget.

Candi is a graduate of the Riggio Honors Writing Program at The New School where she recently received her MFA in Creative Nonfiction. She is currently seeking representation for her memoir "Lush at Sea" about her adventures on the high seas.

After living in Miami Beach, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, on eleven cruise ships and the Netherlands, Candi is now based in Manhattan where she is the consul for the two-thousand member New York Fun Group with the international expat organization InterNations.
